Dana and Seth drove to Pittsburgh last fall for their engagement session in the city and we were fast friends. If only we actually lived in the same city! Needless to say, I had been so excited to shoot their wedding for months and it was even more joyful than I was anticipating. From hearing their youth pastor tell stories about when they had crushes on each other back in the day to a packed dance floor, it was such an honor to photograph all of the moments of this day. Dana and Seth are servant hearted, easy going, and fun loving. They made Mike and I put our cameras down and dance at one point and Seth even checked on us to see how our dinner was. Truly remarkable to see a couple serve and act selflessly on a day that is typically viewed as all about them. HOW DO I GET TO PHOTOGRAPH THE WEDDING’S OF SUCH AMAZING PEOPLE!? Forever grateful. I’ll always remember this one. And I’ll be finding those white confetti hearts in my car and bags for years to come. Best way to make an exit.
